You will learn both physical and mental aspects of traditional martial arts as well as lessons that will remain with you your entire life. As a Kyokushin family, will have a deep respect for strong morals, work ethic, and teamwork to help each person reach their goals. As a family, we become stronger.
Kyokushin is not a sport...
...It's a Way of Life!!!
All persons, regardless of age, have the right to defend themselves. Our dojos give you the chance to be taught by professionals with over 150 years of combined experience, who are motivated by providing you with their knowledge and skills if you are willing to put forth your time and best effort. We are here to help you every step of the way.
Our School instructors are not only career practitioners, they are community leaders. They are doctors, educators, and law enforcement officers by trade, bringing their specialized knowledge to each class for the benefit of all in attendance. Most have been training since youth, experiencing the demands placed on students of all ages.
These seminars are held as one or two-day events at various locations. Seminars are set in either a classroom or a hands-on environment. Students will leave the course feeling more confident in their abilities to defend themselves and their families. Seminars for private and business groups may be requested.
Our School participates in Open Tournaments and Inter-School tournaments with neighboring Kyokushin schools.
Training for these tournaments is often separate from the regular family classes. Students participate in small School tournaments to gain confidence and to test their skill in competition. As they improve in rank, they participate in larger events.
We are associated with the Kyokushin Schools of Karate Worldwide. The Kinryu School has its lineage from the Karate School of The Hawk, Dolphin School of Karate, Riverside Cobra Karate, The Karate School of Oyama, Inc.-Leopard Dojo and from Don Buck's School of The Tiger.
Our affiliate schools include Master Dan Layne's (En Mei Ryu), Scott Moore's Serpent Dojo, Walter Alves' School of The Griffin and Terry Hotchkins' School of the Ice Bear.
